Trveheimer Well, the biggest strength and simultaneously its weakness is that this is a pretty honest record, and it utilizes a lot of sometimes musically contradicting ideas, but I enjoyed the horns (?) as enriching element of the Sound Palette and of course I can dig a extremely reckless Fusion of Oi-Punk and Black Metal, which this where this EP has its best moments..

conceptual release chronicling an adventurous journey by train from the band's home-town of Uppsala to the sprawling metropolis of Miklagård (Istanbul), through denmark, germany, austria, hungary, romania and bulgaria, in July 2016. every track is based on something we experienced on that trip, and is, as such, a very personal piece of music. but this is our approach, our way of doing things. this is SOUTHERN SPRUCE style.

hard earned lessons and crazy memories. drugs, youth, madness.

dedicated to mafia mustafa, the guy who ran "best island hostel" in istanbul. a true character. it is also dedicated to tim, our great friend and travel ally. this is the second chapter in the southern spruce story. 100% based on completely true events. authenticity is key for southern spruce
